Day Services can be very different from each other and are as diverse as the people who attend them. One thing all Day Services having in common is they provide a supervised and safe, structured programme for people with additional needs. Care is to be a bespoke, person-centred experience focused on the individual.
The activities that Sarah Terry Support Ltd provide have a real purpose. Clients are able to make a meaningful contribution to the running of the service, from the choice of activities through to planning the arts and crafts that they will partake in during in club sessions.
At Sarah Terry Support Ltd, we aim to improve our users social skills and mental and physical health, whilst helping them learn and gain independence through day-to-day life.
Sarah Terry Support Ltd is a modern day service for young neurodiverse adults with learning disabilities. We provide a warm, caring and supportive environment to promote enrichment and inclusivity whilst increasing confidence, social skills and independence. We build on individuals personal strengths, enabling them to live a fulfilling life.
We offer a balance of community based activities such as bowling, swimming, golf, shopping and day trips, whilst also providing plenty of indoor activities, such as puzzles and board games, arts and crafts and cooking. Catered to all interests and needs, every client will have an activity to enjoy. We also work very closely to our service users, by creating an annual person centred plan with what the individuals would like to achieve.
Twice a year, Sarah Terry Support Ltd hosts client holidays, allowing them a chance to spend even more time with friends, partake in different activities, which would normally not be accessible, and develop different skills.
